ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
I'm an Educational Psychologist and have been in private practice since 2019. I have also been a high school History teacher since 1999. I completed by Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), a Bachelor of Arts Honours (Psy) and a Bachelor of Education Honours (Edu. Psy) through UNISA as well as a Masters in Educational Psychology at the University of Johannesburg. I am currently registered with the Health professionals Council of South Africa as well as Health and Care Professions Council in the United Kingdom.
I am passionate about working with children and adolescents. My practice focuses on helping young people manage their environment and relationships - with themselves, their family and peers. I provide further support in the following areas:

EXPERIENCE
I have worked in the education field since 1999. I am a qualified high school history teacher and have taught history from Grade 8 to Grade 12. In 2012 I registered as a psychometrist where I completed psycho-educational assessments and career/subject choice assessments. In 2015 I was appointed as a counselor in the context of a high school. Additionally, I have a private practice as an Educational Psychologist in South Africa and I work as an Educational Psychologist in the UK. In this capacity I support students through many processes such as study skills, time management, anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts (peers or parents), career and subject choice concerns and difficulties as well as learning support. I liaise closely with the families of students, students, parents and teachers.
